Frequently Asked Questions

What is a tisane?

A tisane is a natural beverage prepared by steeping herbs, flowers, fruits, or spices in hot water. Unlike traditional tea, it does not come from the tea plant (Camellia sinensis).

At TÉROZ we create handcrafted blends of selected plants that accompany rituals of well-being and daily care.

How are Téroz herbal teas prepared?

Preparing them is part of the ritual.

Recommended preparation

Heat water until it boils.

Add 1 tablespoon of herbal tea (approx. 2–3 g) per cup.

Pour the hot water over the plants.

Cover the cup during infusion to preserve the essential oils and natural aromas.

Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.

Strain and enjoy.

You can have them hot or cold. Some blends can be enjoyed with milk depending on their flavor profile.

How long do herbal teas last?

If they are stored correctly:

Recommended duration: 12–18 months.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Keep the package tightly closed.

Dried plants retain their aroma and properties better in the first few months.

Do Téroz herbal teas contain caffeine?

Our herbal teas are naturally caffeine-free, as they are made only with herbs, flowers, fruits and spices, and do not contain traditional tea leaves or stimulants.

They are ideal to consume at any time of day, even at night.
